			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Day 1: Vientiane</strong><br />
Arrival in Vientiane. First stop at <em>Pha That Luang</em>. It is a symbol of both the Buddhist religion and Lao sovereignty. Next is <em>Patuxai</em>, a large monument in the style of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Then proceed to Ho<em> Pha Keo</em>, a museum containing some of the best examples of Buddhist sculptures found in Laos. After that visit <em>Wat Si Saket</em>, which contains more than 2,000 silver and ceramic Buddha images. Then stop at <em>Wat Si Muang</em>, a temple that acts as the home of Vientiane’s guardian spirits. The last visit of the day is at <em>Talaat Sao</em> which is a morning market but also opens all day – selling a wide range of fabrics, jewellery and electronic goods. Retire back to hotel to check in overnight at Vientiane.</p>
<p><strong>Day 2: Vientiane-Luang Prabang</strong><br />
Transfer to the airport for flight to <em>Luang Prabang</em>. Transfer out of airport to the hotel for check in. Continue with sightseeing in Luang Prabang. The first visit will be <em>Wat Xieng Thong</em>. It shows the typical Lao art style with old religious artifacts and some ancient masterpieces of Lao art. <em>Wat Wisunalat</em>, built in 1513, is known to be the oldest operating temple in Luang Prabang with a collection of gilded wooden Buddhas from the 15th and 16th centuries. The next visit is to <em>Wat Mai</em>. It was once the residence of Phra Sangkharaj. <em>Wat That Luang</em> contains a few Luang Prabang Buddhas and other artifacts. The last visit is to <em>Wat Saen</em>, a Thai style wat built in 1718 and restored in 1957. After the tour retire back to hotel for overnight at Luang Prabang.</p>
<p><strong>Day 3: Luang Prabang</strong><br />
Take a boat excursion to <em>Pak Ou Caves</em>. Pak Ou Caves are full of Buddha images in various styles, ages and sizes. Stop at <em>Ban Xang Hai</em>. This village was once a ‘Jar-Maker Village,’ but today the community fills the jars that are exported elsewhere with <em>láo-láo</em>, the local rice whisky. Retire back to hotel for an overnight in Luang Prabang.</p>

<p><strong>Day 4: Luang Prabang-Vientiane</strong><br />
Visit the <em>National Museum</em> which houses the Royal throne of the Lan Xang Kingdom and many other pieces of regalia and religious treasures. The last visit of the day is at <em>Phu Si</em>, a temple on the upper slopes of a 100 metre high hill. Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Vientiane. Transfer from airport to hotel to check in. Overnight in Vientiane.</p>

Transfer to airport.</p>
