5 Days in Laos

Day 1: Vientiane Arrival in Vientiane. First stop at Pha That Luang. It is a symbol of both the Buddhist religion and Lao sovereignty. Next is Patuxai, a large monument in the style of the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Then proceed to Ho Pha Keo, a museum containing some of the best examples of Buddhist sculptures found in Laos. After that visit Wat Si Saket, which contains more than 2,000 silver and ceramic Buddha images. Then stop at Wat Si Muang, a temple that acts as the home of Vientiane’s guardian spirits.
