Kenya kidnap update

Following on from yesterday’s post regarding the murder of David Tebbutt and the kidnap of his wife Judith, a British couple holidaying at a luxury resort on Lamu Island in Kenya  I thought it was right to post an update on current events. Kenyan officials have drafted in more police and members of the Kenyan army to search for the kidnappers who raided the exclusive Kiwayu Safari Village in the early hours of Monday morning. British couple attacked in Kenya- is it still safe to travel there?

Yesterday, the tenth anniversary of the September 11th terrorist attack on America was certainly a day for reflection and remembrance; but the tragedy of the occasion was compounded even further for many in Britain and indeed worldwide by the news that a British couple had been attacked while holidaying in Kenya by suspected Somali militants who killed one man and then abducted his wife.
